Two people were interested in a two-vehicle accident 8:10 a.m. today on County Road 40 and Dogwood, two miles north of Sarcoxie.
According to the Highway Patrol report, an eastbound 2006 Ford Ranger truck driven by Charles D. Neumeyer, 67, Reeds, ran a stop sign and ran into the path of a 2004 Nissan Maxima driven by Melvin J. Arreaga-Lopez, 29, Reeds.
Neumeyer was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin. Arreaga-Lopez was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
