Kansas man injured in two-vehicle accident near Carl Junction

A Kansas man was injured in a two-vehicle accident 3:20 p.m. Tuesday on Highway 171, one mile west of Carl Junction.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2010 Chevrolet S10 driven by Gregory K. Bradshaw, 56, Granby, was stopped to make a left turn into a private drive when it was hit in the rear by a 2008 Toyota Corolla driven by Matthew W. Wells, 38, Fort Scott, Kansas.

Wells was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
