Southwest Missouri Road Projects to Contractors
MoDOT, Southwest District – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission, at its meeting today (Wednesday, June 6) in West Plains, awarded several road projects to road/bridge construction companies, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
Here are the details:
I-44 west of Springfield: Bridge replacement at Pickerel Creek
Awarded to Hartman and Company, Inc. of Springfield, for a low bid amount of $2.5 million
Various state routes in southwest Missouri: On-call guardrail/guard cable repair
Awarded to Mar-Jim Contracting, LLC. of Grandview, for a low bid amount of $2 million
Route 13 between Clinton and Springfield and Route 32 west of Bolivar: Intersection improvements and roadside repairs
Awarded to APAC-Central of Fayetteville, Ar., for a low bid amount of $10.6 million
Route 39 in Aurora: New railroad bridge and railroad crossing improvements
Awarded to Hartman and Company, Inc. of Springfield, for a low bid amount of $3.3 million
Route 65 between Springfield and Ozark: Widen to six lanes, rehabilitate Route 65 bridge over Farmer’s Branch, rehabilitate Evans Road bridge over Route 65
Awarded to Millstone Weber, LLC. of St. Charles, for a low bid amount of $8.4 million
Various state routes in southwest Missouri: On-call guardrail/guard cable repair
Awarded to Mar-Jim Contracting, LLC. of Grandview, for a low bid amount of $715,000
Construction on the projects will start sometime later this year. More information on the construction timeline for each project will be announced prior to the start dates.
