We have received word from Crawford County District Court of a potential scam. Callers are contacting members of the public identifying themselves as "Couriers" for the District Court. The callers are asking parties for their social security number and home address.
Please remember, DO NOT give out any personal information- especially social security numbers- to unknown and/or untrustworthy sources.
If you have been a victim of this or any other scam, please contact your local law enforcement agency.
It is highly suggested you stay in close contact with your financial institutions and credit bureaus to ensure there is no foul play.
