...Winter Storm Impacting the Region...

.A slow moving storm system which has already brought a mix of
rain, freezing rain and snow to the area will continue to bring a
variety of precipitation to the region into tonight. Mainly snow
is expected from the Highway 54 corridor to around Rolla. Mixed
precipitation is expected south of this area down to around the
Highway 60 corridor. This includes freezing rain, sleet, and some
snow. Freezing drizzle will also be possible across much of the
area tonight.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST
TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations
  of 1 to 3 inches are expected around the Highway 54 corridor.
  Some localized amounts of 4 to 5 inches will be likely in
  Vernon County. Areas of southern Jasper County will likely see
  less than an inch. Pockets of freezing drizzle are expected
  this evening with a thin glaze of ice accumulation possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Kansas and southwest and west
  central Missouri.

* WHEN...Until midnight CST tonight.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute.
