Boil order lifted for City of Neosho

(From the City of Neosho)

The City of Neosho Public Works Department has received the water sample quality test results back. All 4 samples have tested negative for any harmful contaminants.

As of 1:15 pm, Saturday- March 9th, the boil advisory is lifted along with the water conservation recommendations.

As of 1:00 pm today (Saturday) both affected towers are over half full. Water pressures should be coming close to normal operation, if not already. Our water plant will be working 24hrs a day in 12 hr shifts until towers are full.

Thank you for being patient with this process as we took every precaution to ensure safe drinking water to our community. If you are having any issues with water pressure or air in the your lines this weekend please call dispatch at 417-451-4242, after Monday at 7 am, please call the Public Works Dept at 451-8071 and they will have a crew member come to your neighborhood to flush fire hydrants.

Thank you

Nate Siler

Public Works Director
