On Thursday, March 14th from 5:00-7:00, the Carthage Intermediate Center will be transformed into Tigerville for their Around Town Math Adventure!
This is a fun, family event focused on teaching students how to budget and spend their money wisely. The students will receive a “paycheck” when they arrive that they will use to pay bills and spend on fun activities located throughout the whole school building. They will even have opportunities to learn about savings accounts and charitable giving.
They can pay to help pack snack bags for Bright Futures, and even donate their Tiger Bucks to help one of our Carthage Tigers who is currently battling Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in a very real way.
The school has partnered with more than 20 businesses in the community who are working with the school by donating their time, treasure, or talents. Please help us make this a special family centered event at the Carthage Intermediate Center.
