Cheryl Konarski starts job as Joplin Police Department public safety communications manager

We are excited to introduce Cheryl Konarski, as the Joplin Police Department’s new Public Safety Communications Manager. 

Cheryl has 30 years of experience in public safety and 25 years in public safety communications. She started her career with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and has worked the last 14 years with Dade County Emergency Services, where she was Lead Telecommunicator and Training Officer. 

Cheryl is known statewide as an Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (APCO) trainer, she serves on the legislative board for Missouri APCO and is the treasurer for the Missouri Public Safety Communications Conference.
