Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 1:20 a.m. today on Route D, two miles west of Stella.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 Nissan Xterra driven by Rex W. Inmon, 42, Goodman, failed to negotiate a curve, traveled across the center of the roadway and struck a 2001 Dodge Ram driven by Bruce M. Hixson, 17, Neosho. nearly head on.
Inmon was treated for serious injuries and a passenger in his vehicle, Clifford S. Wooster, 41, Stella, for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
There was a 3rd injured from the other vehicle. She is a 19 year old girl and has a broken cheekbone from the crash. All important details aren't stated here
