Nevada man injured in accident on ice-covered I-49 at Lamar

A Nevada man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 8:28 a.m. Thursday on I-49 at Lamar.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Toyota Tacoma driven by James E. Bundridge, 43, Nevada, lost control on the ice-covered roadway, ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a guard rail.

Bundridge was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
