Beginning this month, NCSO will be sending out letters to people with warrants. We are hoping to clear up older warrants that have been active for a while.
We would like to make everyone aware of this so there is no confusion. We have routinely informed you of scammers threatening to issue warrants for your arrest if you didn’t provide some form of immediate payment, usually in the form of gift cards.
The letters we will be sending out are not a scam, they are simply informing you of an active warrant, which can be verified through the use of Missouri’s CaseNet website.

EDIT: We failed to mention, letters will only be sent on misdemeanor warrants. There will not be letters sent on felony charges.
