Joplin Fire Department responds to 827 requests for assistance during March

March was a very busy month for Joplin firefighters as they responded to 827 requests for assistance (average of 27 responses per day). 

This is the largest monthly response total in at least the last four years. 

For the current year we are currently 7 percent above last year's call volume in the same time period.
