This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited tornado risk.
  Elevated hail risk.
  Elevated thunderstorm wind damage risk.
  Significant lightning risk.
  Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.








DISCUSSION...

  A few wind gusts up to 30 mph will be possible over the Osage
  Plains of southeast Kansas and western Missouri.

  Severe thunderstorms are expected across the region late this
  evening and through the overnight period. While large hail
  will be the primary risk, damaging wind gusts will be possible
  with any line segments that develop. There is also a limited
  risk for a tornado or two.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

  Strong to severe thunderstorms could be ongoing over portions
  of south central Missouri Thursday morning. This activity is
  expected to exit the region by late morning or mid day
  Thursday.

  Spotter activation may be needed this evening and tonight.
