A Joplin man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 11:30 a.m. today on South Jackson Avenue in Shoal Creek Drive.
According to the Highway Patrol report, Rickie L. Thompson, 35, Joplin, driving a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe, failed to negotiate a curve, exited the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch.
Thompson was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
