Two arrested following Jasper traffic stop, meth, marijuana confiscated

On Wednesday, June 5th, 2019 at 1505 hours, a Jasper officer initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Mercer and 6th St., Jasper, Missouri, on a white 2000 Cadillac passenger car.

Contact was made with the driver, Thomas Ceresia, the front passenger, Michael DeBlase, and the back right passenger, Lisa Anderson.

While speaking to the occupants, the officer smelled a strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. DeBlase said he had been and admitted he had marijuana in the car.

Anderson admitted she had marijuana and methamphetamine in her purse.







A search of the vehicle was conducted. The officer located the following:

-Decades cigarette box with a plastic baggy with about 2-3 grams of marijuana inside and a multi colored glass smoking pipe with burnt marijuana residue. 

*-Altoids aluminum container with a plastic baggy with about 1/4 gram of a white crystal substance inside, a plastic baggy with a small amount of marijuana inside and a straw cut for narcotic use. Found in a purse in the backseat.

Anderson was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and transported to the Jasper County jail. DeBlase was issued citations for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
