A Joplin man was injured in a two-vehicle accident 10:58 a.m. today on eastbound I-44, three miles south of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, an unknown tractor-trailer lost a wheel that struck the driver side of a door of a 2008 Toyota Tacoma driven by Mark R. Brown, 64, Joplin.
Brown was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Carthage.
