McDonald County Sheriff's Office recovers stolen property, arrests Anderson man

McDonald County Detectives recovered stolen property. Detective Blake Barrett, supervising the investigation into several recent theft cases was able to develop information that led him to the recovery of a stolen ATV on Indian Creek Road on Thursday, June 27. 

The ATV had been reported stolen on June 23rd from a location west of Anderson. 

Detective Barrett submitted requests for charges and Jeremy Bacon, 40, Anderson has been charged with the Tampering with a Motor Vehicle and Possession of Burglary Tools and is currently being held in the McDonald County Jail with a $3000 cash only bond.

 
During the course of this investigation, additional leads were developed that led the detectives to another location where a stolen boat and lawn mower were also recovered. All of the stolen property has been returned to the legitimate owners.
