A Joplin teen who had just been injured in a one-vehicle accident was hit by another vehicle 1:25 a.m. today on Schifferdecker Avenue, one mile east of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Nissan Maxima driven by Hailey M. Robnson, 18, Joplin, ran off the roadway and overturned at 1:20 a.m.
Five minutes later as Robinson was in the roadway, she was struck by a 1997 Pontiac Bonneville driven by Richard D. Hilton, 49, Galena, Kansas.
Robinson was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
