A Liberal man was injured in a two-vehicle accident 12:40 p.m. today on MO 43, three miles east of Liberal.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Ford F150 driven by Darrel L. Thompson, 68, Liberal, was stopped waiting to make a left turn when it was struck in the rear by a 2006 BMW SUV driven by Jodie M. Boswell, 43, Carthage.
Thompson was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
