Route, schedule provided for annual Joplin Veterans Day Parade

American Legion Post 13 along with the Friends of Joplin Community Veterans are proud to announce the 31st Annual Veterans Day Parade. Saturday, November 10, 2018, in beautiful downtown Joplin, MO beginning at 10 a.m., traveling north from 15th and Main Streets-turning West onto 3rd Street and Southbound on Joplin Avenue ending at Memorial Hall.

This is a special invitation to all area veterans to sit in our place of honor on the west side of 700 block of South Main. There will be bleachers set up near the judges’ stand and the emcees.


Parade participants  will have set line-up|location assignments to assemble along Main Street and adjacent side streets and the parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Main Street at the intersection of 15th Street.

We invite the public to come and line the streets along the parade route to honor our heroes – our Veterans.

PARADE ROUTE 15th and Main – BEGIN 3rd and Main – turn west/left onto 3rd St. for one block 3rd and Joplin Ave – turn south/left onto Joplin Ave 8th and Joplin Ave – END AT JOPLIN MEMORIAL HALL

Joplin City Works and Joplin Police employees will block traffic beginning at 8 a.m.
