Two Springdale, Arkansas residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident 12:45 a.m. today on I-49, 10 miles north of Lamar.
According to the Highway Patrol report, the towed unit of a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Jonary N. Garciano, 21, South Sioux City, Nebraska, detached and struck a 2018 Nissan Altima driven by Pa Xiong, 40, Springdale.
Xiong and a passenger, Xia Lo, 51, Springdale, were treated for minor injuries at Cox Barton County Hospital.
