Two injured in head-on crash on Fir Road, Carthage man cited for DWI

A Carthage man was cited for driving while intoxicated following a two-vehicle head-on crash 5:45 p.m. Sunday on Fir Road, just south of Carthage.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1998 Dodge 1500 driven by Chad W. Robbins, 24, Carthage, crossed the center line and struck a 2009 Cadillac Escalade driven by Catelyn B. Miller, 25, Carthage head on.


Robbins and Miller were treated for minor injuries at Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital, Carthage.

In addition to DWI, Robbins was charged with careless and imprudent driving and for not having a valid license
