At approximately 5:00 PM on Thursday, the 7th of May our water distribution experienced a water main break that we were unable to locate until early morning of the 8th.
This water break resulted in low to no water pressure in the areas of the East side, Central and North West of Neosho.
We currently have isolated the issue and are able to resume normal pumping operation to all 4 water towers.

A boil advisory has been issued as a precaution for the possibility of contaminates. While the contamination is unlikely, this advisory is issued to ensure the quality of water for our community.
The City of Neosho Public Works Department will take every step needed to provide clean, safe water. Information will be provided for boiling instructions, as well as reports on our water sampling test results as they become available in about 24 hours. At the time the test results are available we will make the announcement that the advisory is lifted.
