Diamond man arrested in connection with burglaries in McDonald County area

On 03/01/19 Ozark Drug Enforcement Team with the assistance of Jasper County, Duquesne PD, Newton County and Joplin PD were able to track down a wanted fugitive who was wanted in connection with several burglaries and thefts in McDonald County and the surrounding area.

The suspect identified as Craig Vanlue 27 years of age, Diamond, was a passenger in a stolen passenger car out of Rogers, Arkansas. 










ODET Detectives were able to track Vanlue down in Joplin just West of Flying J Truck stop on FF Highway. 

Officers located a handgun in the vehicle and several items of drug paraphernalia. 

The female driver Makayla Swinson was also arrested in connection with the stolen vehicle. Both suspects were transported to Jasper County Jail.

  1. Wow. First good look at his mugshot I've seen. Very different than pics on Facebook. Don't do drugs, kids.

  2. This guy needs to be locked away Craig has had more than enough chances. He has multiple charges dating back for years. He also had other things swept under the rug when he was younger. The next time anything happens we hold the judge or system at fault when an innocent life is put in his crosshairs.
