(From the Lamar Police Department)

While officers were investigating the alarm a suspect ran on foot from the area of the business. Officers were unable to apprehend and detain the suspect for questioning.

During the investigation, Officer Toby Luce and K9 Hondo were called on to perform a track of the suspect. During the track, evidence was located allowing

After some investigation on the evening of April 10th Braden Chester Cole, 18 of Lamar, turned himself in to authorities at the Barton County Jail. An interview led to the arrest of a second subject, Tristan Lee Macon, 17 of Lamar.

Due to this investigation officers of the Lamar Police Department have been able to clear 11 burglary cases. Both Cole and Macon are being held in the Barton County Jail on multiple counts of 2nd degree burglary with more arrests expected to occur.
