The Historic Preservation Commission has secured the professional services of Bob Yapp from Hannibal Missouri to conduct an intensive 3-day boot camp teaching student to remove, restore and re-install double hung windows in accordance with standards of historic properties.

The workshop is scheduled for May 18 through May 20 at the Empire Market, 931 East 4th Street. Work will be conducted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Spots for 18 students are available, with registration and participation set at $100 per student. The event is co-sponsored by Historic Murphysburg Preservation, Inc.
