A Joplin man was injured when he was struck by a pickup 8:30 p.m. Friday on Route N at MO 37, five miles north of Avilla.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1985 Ford Ranger driven by Jerry L. Slenniken, 63, Jasper, struck Matthew L. Mayberry, 31, Joplin, who was walking in the roadway.
Mayberry was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
