(From Southern News Service)
Missouri Southern State University closed at 10 a.m. today, due to a break in a major steam heating pipe on campus.
University officials say the break has resulted in rapid loss of heat to some campus buildings.
“This is not a safety issue,” says Rob Yust, Vice President for Business Affairs. “However, buildings will become too cold in which to work comfortably.”
Employees were permited leave campus at 10 a.m. and will not be required to submit vacation leave for the day.
