An Overland Park, Kansas, driver was injured in a one-vehicle accident 11 p.m. Tuesday on Route N, five miles southeast of Jasper.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Freightliner driven by Peter G. Karanja, 44, was traveling east on N and ran off the right side of the roadway. Karanja overcorrected and ran off the left side of the roadway, striking a tree.
Karanja was treated for minor injuries at Barton County Memorial Hospital, Lamar.
