A Mindenmines woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 11:30 a.m. today on U. S. 160, five miles south of Liberal.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Leon W. Cotton, 69, Mindenmines, was overtaking slower traffic, when Cotton lost control due to the slick roadway, ran off the road, and overturned.
A passenger, Barbara J. Casteel, 61, Mindenmines, was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
