Update
Based on the preliminary autopsy report there is no foul play suspected. Toxicology
reports can take six to eight weeks for return and those are pending. The scene at 310 W.
14th has been released.
Original News Release
On January 22, 5:53 PM, the Joplin Police Department received the report of a missing
person. Tonya L. Crawford, 38, Joplin was reported missing by friends and family.
Crawford was entered into NCIC as a missing person.
On January 23, at 2:33 PM, Crawford was located deceased at her residence at 310 W.

. The Joplin Police Department is conducting a death investigation.
