Student Activities/Events
· The Journalism and Mass Media Club at Crowder College will host local author Judy Haas Smith discussing her book, “Larger than LIFE: The Legacy of Dan Longwell and Mary Fraser Longwell” and the publishing industry. With experience in the newspaper, magazine, and book publishing industries, Smith provides a wealth of knowledge about print media. Her book focuses on former key characters in the staff of LIFE magazine. The event will be held in the Newton Hall Conference Room from 9:30-11 on Thursday, Jan. 21. Everyone welcome!

Roughrider Athletics

Crowder Foundation Events

· Art Exhibit in Longwell Museum Jan. 12-Feb. 4. Kristine Allphin is an award winning artist. An artist reception will be held Saturday, Jan. 30, 5-7pm. Normal museum hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm. This event is free and open to the public. Please call the museum at 417-455-5470 if you have questions. Allphin’s education in graphic design and illustration bring and original style, sensitivity and craftsmanship to her batik work.
