Anderson man charged with DWI following injury crash on 71

An Anderson man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a two-car crash 10:40 p.m. Sunday on U. S. 71 in Jane.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2010 Toyota Tacoma driven by Samay Champosauk, 51, Rogers, Arkansas, pulled into the path of a 2000 Chrysler Cirrus driven by John D. Faro, 49, Anderson.

Champosauk and a passenger in his vehicle, Phetsamone Champosauk, 52, Rogers, were treated for minor injuries at Northwest Medical Center, Bentonville, Arkansas.

Faro, in addition to DWI, was charged with having no valid driver's license and no insurance.
