Chi Chi Mama’s Breastfeeding Support Group will participate in the World Breastfeeding Week celebration on Saturday, August 4 and invites everyone in the community, including breastfeeding mothers and anyone who wants to support breastfeeding mothers to attend this event. It will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Joplin Memorial Hall, 212 West 8th Street in Joplin.
This event offers fun for the whole family with face painting, games, free food, door prizes and much more.
Theme for the event is Breastfeeding: Foundation of Life, as announced by World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action. World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA) is a global network of individuals and organizations concerned with the protection, promotion and support of breastfeeding worldwide.
