Neosho residents injured in crash on 43

Two Neosho residents were injured in a two-vehicle crash 2:51 p.m. today on Business Route 43, four miles south of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Dodge pickup driven by Paul W. Moore, 61, Neosho, was attempting to pass an uninvolved vehicle and struck a 1996 BMW driven by James L. Loudon, 28, Neosho, both vehicles went off the highway with the Loudon vehicle striking a wall.

Loudon and a passenger in his vehicle, Dominic J. Downun, 26, Neosho, were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
