Joplin Arts and Cultural Preview set for Tuesday at Memorial Hall

he Joplin arts and cultural community will convene for Connect2Culture’s third annual “Joplin Arts & Cultural Preview” on Tuesday, July 31, 6:00pm at Joplin Public Library inside the West Community Room (1901 E 20th St, Joplin, MO 64801).
The Joplin Arts & Cultural Preview gives arts and cultural organizations the chance to tell their story and share what they have planned for the year ahead (2018-2019). Each group will have up to three minutes to update the community on what their organization does and/or what they have planned for the coming year.

“The popularity of this event has made it a mainstay in Joplin’s arts and cultural community,” says Emily Frankoski, Community Arts Director, Connect2Culture. “Our creative community has so much to offer. So much, in fact, that it’s nearly impossible to take advantage of all the available opportunities. C2C is passionate about increasing audience for the Joplin arts and cultural community by making these opportunities more accessible to both residents and visitors. We hope this arts roundtable educates the public about upcoming events, encourages collaboration between participating organizations, and informs the media about potential stories.”
