An Opolis man was injured in a two-vehicle accident 9:05 a.m. Monday on U. S. 160, one mile west of Mindenmines.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Chevrolet Impala driven by Norma M. Massa, 85, Pittsburg, Kansas, was attempting to pass a 1981 Chevrolet pickup driven by Tony P. Simons, 64, Opolis, Kansas, when the Simons vehicle made a left turn.
Massa was treated for minor injuries at Via Christi Hospital, Pittsburg, Kansas.
