Jasper PD traffic stop nets confiscation of meth, arrests of Carthage residents, Neosho woman

On Monday, July 16th, 2018 at 1351 hours, A Jasper PD officer initiated a traffic stop at Thorn Rd. and I-49 on a black 2015 Toyota Prius.

Contact was made with the driver, Daniel Holden of Carthage, the front passenger, Sarah Brown of Carthage and the back right passenger, Kayla Brown of Neosho.

A check of the subject’s information showed the following:
•Sarah showed an active felony warrant out of Jasper County Sheriff's Office for Burglary 1st degree.
•Kayla had active warrants out of Carthage PD, including drug violations.
•Holden showed to have a revoked Missouri driver's license. The warrants were confirmed.

A search of the vehicle was conducted. Meth pipes and a baggy with white powder was found in a purse in the backseat. A meth pipe was also found in the center console.

Kayla was arrested for the active warrant, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Holden arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while revoked. Sarah was arrested for the active warrant.
