Seneca Police Department working on code violations

(From the Seneca Police Department)

The Seneca Police Department has been working very diligently on Code Violations.

For those people who are not familiar with these violations they consist of: abandoned homes, tall grass, unlicensed vehicles (basically trashy yards). To this date we have "red tagged" over 100 different homes for these violations. We have also condemned four different homes that have been torn down within the last year. We are really trying to make the town more presentable.

If anyone has a complaint about these type of properties please fill free to contact the Police Department or send us a message on FB. We always appreciate any help we can get from the community.

Some of the homes we have written citations too are still in the court process but we are working with the owners to rectify the issues. If there is a home or property in your neighborhood that is concerning please contact the Police Department, City Hall or Public Works. If we are already working on it we will let you know and if it is not on our list we will start the process. Thanks So Much.
