(From the Jasper County Sheriff's Office)On 09/09/2024, at 10:52 AM, the Jasper County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the Joplin Humane Society for eight puppies being found deceased in a plastic tote.
Through the investigation and the help from concerned citizens sharing the post that the Joplin Humane Society had posted, several anonymous callers called with information.
After reviewing surveillance cameras and following tips the public gave, Seth Vaile, 30, Joplin (top photo), was contacted and arrested. Seth has been arrested for outstanding warrants, and charges of 8 counts of Animal Abuse were sent to the Prosecuting Attorney’s office for further review.
Samuel Allen, 36, Joplin, is listed as a person of interest and was also contacted and arrested for outstanding warrants. This is an ongoing investigation and more charges may be filed at a later time.
Great job by the Humane Society and the Sheriffs Office. Now, let’s hope they picked up any animals that were in their “care”…
