Two women were injured in a two-vehicle accident 2:30 p.m. today on MO 59, four miles north of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Honda Odyssey driven by Luis G. Flores, 70, was attempting to make a left turn, failed to yield, and pulled directly into the path of a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta driven by Becky L. Freund, 39, Neosho.
Freund and a passenger in the Flores vehicle, Linda F. Flores, 66, Rogers, Arkansas, were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
