According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1999 Pontiac G6 driven by Alexis M. McCaslin, 19, Crane, pulled into the path of a 2007 Ford Escape driven by Tamra L. Phillips, 44, Carthage.
McCaslin and Phillips were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
