Two injured in chain reaction crash near Neosho

 Two people were injured in a three-vehicle chain reaction crash 5:15 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 60 and Ibex, two miles west of Neosho.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Toyota Corolla driven by Porshoua V. Lee, 43, Neosho, was stopped to make a left turn, with a 1999 Toyota Avalon driven by Randy D. Allen, 62, Rogers, Arkansas, stopped behind it, when a 2014 Ford van driven by David K. Meyer, 50, Miami, Oklahoma, failed to stop and struck the Allen vehicle in the rear, forcing it into the Lee vehicle.

Allen was treated for minor injuries and a passenger in the Allen vehicle, Thomasine Hendrick, 81, Anderson, was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
