Carthage woman injured in two-vehicle accident north of Joplin

A Carthage woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident 5:30 p.m. today two miles north of Joplin on Highway 43.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2000 Buick LeSabre driven by James W. Dotson, 82, Carthage, attempted a left turn into the path of a 1991 Ford F-150 driven by Melvin R. Bowman, 17, Joplin.

A passenger in the Dotson vehicle, Shirley I. Dotson, 80, Carthage, was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
