On February 19th from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, Joplin High School, in coordination with Immersion in Cultural Education (ICE), will be hosting the 42nd annual Foreign Language Field Day.
Last year was the 41st and final year Missouri Southern State University would host the event. Joplin High School Foreign Language department in coordination with ICE (a local not-for-profit educational travel organization) quickly decided it would be a shame to see the event disappear forever.
Seven hundred forty-five students from more than 20 schools are signed up to compete and participate in a myriad of competitive and non-competitive events.
ICE and Joplin High School plan to continue to host the event in years to come.
