Two Carthage residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident 7:15 p.m. Friday on Cedar Road at I-49 just west of the Carthage city limts.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2010 Chevrolet HHR driven by Patricia M. Baker, 74, Carthage, failed to yield and pulled into the path of a 2000 Ford Expendition driven by Desean A. Joseph, 20, Carthage.
Baker and Joseph were treated for moderate injuries at Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital, Carthage.
