Webb City man charged in connection with iPhone scam

On 3/18/2016 at about 2 PM, it was reported to the Carthage Police Department that a subject was selling Fake iPhone 6S Plus phones. The victim had purchased a phone for a cheap discounted price. 

The iPhone appears to be very real, however when service is attempted to be connected to the phone it does not work.

The suspect Mario Minor, Webb City, was selling the fake phones on Craigslist. He was contacted by detectives and taken into custody. The Jasper County Prosecutor's Office filed charges of Counterfeiting and Stealing. His bond was set at $5000.
