Main Street will be closed from 4th Street to 7th Street from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30. Detours will be in place for drivers to utilize these during that time.
Due to the closures, the Sunshine Lamp Trolley has announced the relocation of the City Hall stop to move to the Empire District building on the southwest corner of 6th and Joplin Avenue. (This relocation is the same as established during Third Thursday events.)
The closure is for production work of a special project that will be part of Joplin’s five-year anniversary of the tornado on May 22, 2011.
