Two Columbus, Kansas residents were injured in two-vehicle accident 6:45 p.m. Saturday on Route YY, a half mile west of Carl Junction
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 Nissan Altima driven by Anna K. Schibi, 18, Parsons, Kansas, failed to yield at a stop sign and struck a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Daniel J. O'Hara, 56, Columbus, nearly head on.
O'Hara and a passenger, Brenda K. O'Hara, 50, Columbus, were treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
