A Kansas woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 4:15 p.m. today on Route BB, five miles north of Avilla.
According to the Highway Patrol report, Jamie R. Honsinger-Cooper, 34, Gardner, Kansas, swerved to avoid the deer, went off the left side of the roadway, and overturned.
Honsinger-Cooper was treated for minor injuries at Barton County Memorial Hospital, Lamar.
